AWANBIRU TECHNOLOGY BERHAD (FORMERLY KNOWN AS PRESTARIANG BERHAD) ("AWANTEC" OR "THE COMPANY") - UPDATES ON LEGAL PROCEEDINGS BY PRESTARIANG SKIN SDN. BHD. ("PSKIN" OR "PLAINTIFF") AGAINST THE GOVERNMENT OF MALAYSIA ("GOM" OR "DEFENDANT")

We refer to our announcements dated 15 April 2019, 16 July 2019, 31 October 2019, 4 December 2019, 10 June 2020, 29 June 2020, 23 July 2020, 3 December 2020, 23 December 2020 and 7 January 2021.

 

The Company wishes to announce that: -

 

(i)  the High Court had during the continuation of the hearing of PSKIN’s Originating Summons (“OS”) on 26 February 2021 directed additional hearing dates in respect of the OS be fixed on 9 April 2021, 28 April 2021, 19 to 21 May 2021; and

 

(ii)  there will be no hearing on 2 July 2021, 9 July 2021 and 1 September 2021.

 

The Company will make the necessary announcements on material developments in respect of this matter from time to time.
