Dato' Tharuma Rajah @ K.T. Rajan A/L R.Krishnan ("Dato' KT Rajan") started his working career with Lembaga Letrik Negara from 1973 to 1979.

At the same time, he was very active in sports of field hockey and represented Malaysia in many international hockey tournaments from 1973 to 1979, including in the Hockey World Cup in 1978.

Dato' KT Rajan then joined Polis Di Raja Malaysia ("PDRM") from 1980 to 1990, which saw him covering:
-Serious/heavy crime and commercial crime investigations (1980 to 1987)
-PDRM Intelligence unit (1987 to 1989)
-Aide de camp to Chief Police of Selangor (1989 to 1990)
-Assignments as special assistance to royal family/VIPs
(throughout his career with PDRM from 1980 to 1990).

The above scopes required Dato' KT Rajan to be highly skilled in initiating and maintaining contacts, coordination of logistics and people, planning and implementing security arrangements and intelligence gathering. It has also made him very experience in resource planning, situational assessments, handling and communicating with people at various levels of society and maintaining a very wide network of business and community leaders.

Dato' KT Rajan left PDRM in 1990 to directly serve a royal family as special attaché until the present day.

Dato' KT Rajan's background with PDRM and wealth of experience will add key strategic value to the composition and dynamics of the Board, particularly in the areas of strengthening the emphasis on Good Corporate Governance, adhering to standards locally and benchmarking against international best practices. This would include the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act as well as code of conduct and integrity undertaking and commitments between the Company, its customers and principals.
