AWANBIRU TECHNOLOGY BERHAD (FORMERLY KNOWN AS PRESTARIANG BERHAD ("AWANTEC" OR "THE COMPANY") - UPDATES ON LEGAL PROCEEDINGS BY PRESTARIANG SKIN SDN. BHD. ("PSKIN" OR "PLAINTIFF") AGAINST THE GOVERNMENT OF MALAYSIA ("GOM" OR "DEFENDANT")

We refer to our announcements dated 15 April 2019, 16 July 2019, 31 October 2019, 4 December 2019, 10 June 2020, 29 June 2020, 23 July 2020, 3 December 2020 and 23 December 2020.

 

During the case management of PSKIN’s Originating Summons (“OS”) on 6 January 2021 before the High Court, the High Court directed that: -

 

(a) a further case management be scheduled on 18 January 2021 to update the High Court on the status of affidavits and conduct of proceedings; and

(b) additional hearing dates in respect of the OS be fixed on 2 July 2021, 9 July 2021 and 1 September 2021.

 

The Company will make the necessary announcements on material developments in respect of this matter from time to time.
