The Board of Directors of Prestariang wishes to update the status of the Memorandums of Understanding ("MOU") as follows:-
1. MOU entered into between University Malaysia of Computer Science and Engineering ("UniMy"), a tertiary education facility established under Prestariang Education Sdn. Bhd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Prestariang, with its industry partners
With reference to the previous announcements in relation to the MOUs entered by UniMY with each of the following entities to support UniMy’s aspiration to develop a tertiary education facility focusing on computer science and engineering,:-
(i) Kumpulan Modal Perdana Sdn. Bhd. (“KMP”)
The Company wishes to inform that there has been no material development since the previous announcement.
(ii) NanoMalaysia Berhad (“NanoMalaysia”)
The Company wishes to update that the Company had on today issued a notice to NanoMalaysia in relation to termination of the MOU which shall be effective on 22 May 2017 in view that there has been no material development with regards to the proposed collaboration under the MOU.
2. MOU entered into between Prestariang with CIDB Holdings Sdn. Bhd. and Autodesk Asia Pte. Ltd.
With reference to the Company's announcement on 17 November 2014 in relation to the MOU entered into between the Company with CIDB Holdings Sdn. Bhd. ("CIDB") and Autodesk Asia Pte. Ltd. ("Autodesk"), the Company wishes to update that the Company had on today issued three (3) months advance notice to CIDB and Autodesk in relation to termination of the MOU which shall be effective on 21 August 2017 in view that there has been no material development with regards to the proposed collaboration under the MOU.
3. MOU entered into between Prestariang with Alibaba.com Singapore E-Commerce Private Limited and Conversant Solutions Pte Ltd ("Alibaba Cloud" and "Conversant")
With reference to the Company's announcement on 12 January 2017 in relation to the MOU entered into between the Company with Alibaba Cloud and Conversant (collectively be reffered to as "the Parties"), the Company wishes to inform that the Parties are currently in active customer engagement to develop an implementation framework leading toward a nationwide pilot rollout.
