Upliftment As An Affected Listed Issuer Pursuant To Paragraph 8.03a And Trading Suspension

Reference is made to Listing Circular dated 18 April 2024 and Awantec’s announcements dated 8 and 19 April 2024.

After taking into consideration the relevant facts and circumstances, Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) has resolved to grant the Company a waiver from complying with Paragraph 8.04(3)(a) of the Main Market Listing Requirements which requires an Affected Listed Issuer pursuant to Paragraph 8.03A of the Main Market Listing Requirements to submit a regularisation plan to Bursa Securities.

With the above, Bursa Securities wishes to inform that Awantec will be uplifted from being classified as an Affected Listed Issuer pursuant to Paragraph 8.03A of the Main Market Listing Requirements and the suspension on the trading of the securities of Awantec will be uplifted effective from 9.00 a.m., Monday, 13 May 2024.
