We refer to the Company’s first announcement dated 29 January 2021 and subsequent announcements in relation to triggering the prescribed criteria pursuant to Paragraph 8.03A 2(a)(aa) of the Listing Requirements, in particular to the announcements dated 8 April 2024, 19 April 2024 and 22 April 2024 (“Announcements”). Unless otherwise defined, the definitions set out in the Announcements shall apply herein.

On behalf of the Board, Maybank Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that Bursa Securities had vide its letter dated 10 May 2024 resolved to grant the Company a waiver from complying with Paragraph 8.04(3)(a) of the Listing Requirements which requires the Company to submit a regularisation plan to Bursa Securities.

As such, Awantec will be uplifted from:

(i) being classified as an affected listed issuer pursuant to Paragraph 8.03A of the Listing Requirements; and

(ii) the suspension of trading in the securities of the Company

effective from 9.00 a.m., Monday, 13 May 2024.
