Description AWANBIRU TECHNOLOGY BERHAD ("AWANTEC" OR "THE COMPANY") - UPDATES ON LEGAL PROCEEDINGS BY PRESTARIANG SKIN SDN. BHD. ("PSKIN" OR "PLAINTIFF") AGAINST THE GOVERNMENT OF MALAYSIA ("GOM" OR "DEFENDANT")
We refer to our announcement dated 15 April 2019 and series of subsequent announcements thereafter in relation to the legal proceedings by PSKIN against the GOM.

The Company wishes to announce that:

(i) the hearing of the Originating Summons (“OS”) scheduled on 27 October 2023 has taken place and was duly heard by the Court;

(ii) after concluding the examination of the expert witness, the Court has directed the Parties to file Notes of Proceedings, Written Closing Submissions and Written Reply Closing Submissions respectively before the Oral Closing Submission; and

(iii) the Oral Closing Submission has been fixed on 8 March 2024 by the Court for the conclusion of the OS.

The Company will make the necessary announcements on material developments in respect of this matter from time to time.
