AWANBIRU TECHNOLOGY BERHAD ("AWANTEC" OR "THE COMPANY") - UPDATES ON LEGAL PROCEEDINGS BY PRESTARIANG SKIN SDN. BHD. ("PSKIN" OR "PLAINTIFF") AGAINST THE GOVERNMENT OF MALAYSIA ("GOM" OR "DEFENDANT")

We refer to our announcement dated 15 April 2019 and series of subsequent announcements thereafter in relation to the legal proceedings by PSKIN against the GOM.

 

The Company wishes to announce that: -

 

(i) the continued hearings for the Originating Summons fixed on 13 and 14 July 2023 have been vacated by the Court;

 

(ii) the hearing dates previously scheduled on 25 and 26 July 2023 are maintained.

 

The Company will make the necessary announcements on material developments in respect of this matter from time to time.
