We refer to our first announcement dated 29 January 2021 and series of subsequent monthly announcements thereafter in relation to the Company triggering the prescribed criteria pursuant to Paragraph 8.03A 2(a)(aa) of Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) (“Listing Requirements”).

The Board of Directors of Awantec wishes to inform:-

(i) that the Company has approximately 1 month to submit its regularisation plan to the relevant authorities for approval; and

(ii) that the Company will be making an application for an extension of time for Awantec to submit its regularisation plan to Bursa Securities.

Further announcements will be made to Bursa Securities pertaining to any latest development in accordance with the requirements under Paragraph 8.03A of the Listing Requirements.
